I've heard that this is used in rape caeses too etc.<br /> In abuse often children supress memories so they do not appear until yrs. later . <br />Also when I first heard that excuse used in a case in the USA what came to my mind was <br />so is it to late then to bring war criminals to justice ? I mean we see how those who partook in torture and death of Jewish people in the II WW are still being sought . etc. so why does the same not go for victims of abuse ? <br /> I am going to look up that book !
